Piano lessons that will work for your family
Over the years I've noticed that there are a lot of families who would love for their child to have music in their life, but for whom the traditional piano lesson structure doesn't work.
And for a lot of families it gets so hard to make all of that work, that it isn't worth it.
But these piano lessons are different, and they will work for your family.
Students can still progress even if they have a busy week and aren't able to practice at home, because they have time to practice during the lesson. Parents, if your child is busy, you don't have to nag and stress about practice at home. Families who want their kids to practice regularly can still do so, and their kids will advance that much faster.
Bring siblings and friends at the same time, even if they are on different levels. This means less annoying back and forth driving for parents. You can bring siblings at the same time, or carpool with a friend.
Most students actually progress faster in these classes than they would in private lessons. The practice time during the lesson makes a big difference! The group atmosphere is also highly motivating--students want to be progressing like their friends.

About the Teacher
Hi! My name is Kristin and I've been teaching piano lessons for over 15 years. My husband and I love living in Springville.
I'm also a mother and have 4 boys. I never thought I'd be a mom to all boys! But I'm glad they can be buddies though.
As a mom, I know how busy life is and how challenging it can be for families to accomplish everything.
My goal with this program is to help students and families have success with piano lessons. I've listened to the struggles that many families face, and designed this program to eliminate pain points while helping students make great progress at the piano.
Another goal is for my students to gain the skills to be able to play music that they enjoy and that brings joy to the people around them. That's why, in addition to working out of the lesson book, I include high interest songs as well as piano improv and composition.
When students understand how music works and learn techniques for creative piano playing, they'll always be able to sit down at any piano anywhere and create fun and impressive music.
Through learning these techniques, students gain the skills for a lifetime of enjoyment at the piano.
It's amazing to hear what students can create!
Click on a video below to see examples of pieces created by students who've learned piano improv and composition at Springville Piano Lessons.
This student performed his composition at a recital. My biggest regret is that I didn't record the beginning!
This student loves to improvise and compose. He can really jam!
Beginner students first learn how to create their own simple melodies. They are always so proud of their music!
Even my youngest beginners are asked to share the pieces they create. Their families love to hear what they composed!
