Learn Lots of Chords
Each song is in a different key so that students get to learn and practice several different chords. We don’t want our students to be stuck knowing only a couple of chords!
Every printout has chord diagrams that make it easy for students to know exactly which piano keys to play for each chord.
You get two versions of each song
There are two versions of each song so that you can choose the version that is most appropriate for a particular student.
Version 1 is designed primarily for younger students (although you’re welcome to use it with anyone!) It has fun graphics, uses only open chords, and in some cases the arrangement is a little easier.
The second version uses three-note chords and doesn’t have graphics so that you can use it with any age. In some cases, there are more chord changes which makes the arrangement slightly more challenging (and interesting!)
Chord Charts Work Well in Private or Group Lessons
Students in private lessons enjoy playing familiar Christmas songs from chord charts, and the students in my group classes love too! In either setting you can even turn on a backtrack with a fun rhythm for the students to play along with. They love playing the chords and singing!
